This activity aims at developing the technical specifications to implement the European eInvoicing standard in the Irish local government sector.
Business and functional requirements will be gathered by the project participants for each local authority.
Any requirement that is not part of the EU standard for eInvoicing will be included in the specifications.
The specifications will be documented as “CIUS” – Core Invoice Usage Specifications.
The specifications for the local government sector in Ireland will be shared at a European level, so that the number of different specifications for the same sector is minimised.
This will involve participation in PEPPOL, CEN/TC 434 and CEF initiatives.
