Closing Conference

The closing conference of the CEF funded project for the uptake of eInvoicing for local authorities in Ireland will take place on August 20th 2019, in Dublin.

The objective of the conference is to inform the participants on various aspects of eInvoicing and specifically on the successful completion of the EU funded initiative that involved Fingal, Monaghan, Kildare County Councils and the LGMA.

The experience of the local authorities and the project partners on their eInvoicing journey will be shared, discussing their requirements, implementation plans, key challenges and benefits.

The results of the project will provide insights and contribute to the transfer of knowledge to other local authorities that will embark on their eInvoicing journey.

Public sector authorities, suppliers and service providers are invited to attend the conference.

CEF Digital Implementation Workshop

Location: The Alex Hotel, Fenian Street, Dublin 2

A European Commission, CEF Digital and eInvoicing Ireland implementation event that will focus on the implementation of eInvoicing in Ireland, taking into account lessons learned in the Netherlands, including an explanation of the European Standard for eInvoicing and at how can be applied in practice. OGP representatives will discuss the national eInvoicing strategy and framework.

Project Workshop #2: Functional requirements for eInvoicing

Location: LGMA, Local Government House, Boardroom, 35-39 Usher's Quay, Dublin 8, D08 XKP7

The objective of the workshop is to discuss eInvoicing requirements in the local authorities accounting and business departments. It aims to prepare a functional compliance report based on the functionalities listed in the European eInvoicing standard. The second part of the workshop is aimed at gathering the requirements and then developing them into the Local Authorities eInvoicing specifications (CIUS).
